We already know the list of participants of the 19th Legnica International Jewellery Competition MINIMUM!!! The most important event of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2010 has started!
During two days: the 9th – 10th April in the Gallery of Art in Legnica took place jury session of the Competition. In the jury sat on following members: Maria Rosa Franzin (Italy), Ramón Puig Cuyŕs (Spain), Theo Smeets (Netherlands), Andi Gut (Switzerland), Sławomir Fijałkowski and Arkadiusz Wolski (Poland).

Jury assessed 493 pieces which were sent by 267 artists from all over the world. For the competition were sent applications from 30 countries (European countries, Argentina, Colombia, Japan, Canada, Korea, Israel, Australia, India). Jury selected works which will be presented at the main exhibition of the Festival and awarded chosen artists (total value of all awards about 4. 500 € and 5 kg of silver).

Also founders of prizes beyond the competence of the jury chose their laureates, including: Goldsmithing Artists` Association - 1 kg of silver, the Polish Modern Art Fundation - the Award ofJoachim Sokólski - 1 kg of silver, Inhorgenta Europe – Stand at Inhorgenta Europe 2011 worth 2000 €, Honorable mention of the Director of the Gallery of Art in Legnica – diploma, Gallery Rachel – 250 g of silver, Honorable mention of International Amber Association, Polish Jewellery – advertisement in the PB’s catalogue in 2011, Three Windows Gallery – mention, art magazien Format – mention with publication.
