General informations

We are happy to inform you that since 12 Sep 2007 the work of Open Art Studio, which is organized within our Gallery, has been reactivated. The work of the Studio aim mainly at children and adolescents who want to discover new territories within the broad limits of art, and also at adults (a course still to come). For evry school year we are planned periodical artistic studios (painting, ceramics, drawing, photography, film, installation, happening) and open lectures on art history. As the name suggests, the studio is OPEN to all aspects of artistic work. The main purpose of Open Art Studio is to initialize self-cognition of young people and enable them to express their own feelings, need and dreams through art. Other purposes include creative activation, forming aesthetic sensivity and society-oriented motifs of artistic work.

 In Open Art Studio young people can fill out their time in a creative way, develop their interests and talents under the care of our artists. Being aware of the importance of early education, we are engaged in forming in young people the need to commune with art, break the barrier between so called high art and being shy to confront it. The Studio is conducted by an artist Dagmara Angier-Sroka. Currently the classes take place mainly in the Gallery’s exhibitory rooms at 1 Cathedral Square, every Wednesday 3.00-6.00 p.m. Admission to all classes is free!!!
